About the Highway
Equipped with controlled access, smart tunnel and traffic management systems, the 52-kilometer highway keeps driving safety and comfort high at every point of the route.
Safe, Comfortable, and Uninterrupted Journey Experience
The Çeşmeli-Kızkalesi Highway is planned to create a more controlled alternative to the interstate, tourism, and logistics traffic concentrated on Mersin's western coastal axis. The approximately 52-kilometer line starts from the Çeşmeli area and extends westward toward Erdemli and Kızkalesi to support the transport corridor.
The highway provides all information users will need before traveling, including tunneled sections, connection arrangements, safe driving infrastructure, resting facilities, and toll systems under one roof. This page includes guides on route structure, speed and safety warnings, service areas, and toll rates.
Safe Driving Tips
Safe Distance
Leave a safe following distance appropriate to your speed and weather conditions; keep a safe zone during sudden braking.
Lane Usage
Use the right lane while cruising, and return to your lane safely and appropriately after overtaking.
Rest Plan
Take regular breaks on long journeys; fatigue is one of the most important causes of loss of attention.
Emergency
In case of breakdown or accident, move to a safe zone, use reflectors and get support from the emergency helpline.
Speed Limits
The following information is for general highway usage awareness. Traffic signs on the road, temporary regulations, and official announcements always take priority.
