Foreign Plated Vehicles
Foreign plated vehicles using our highway must hold an HGS subscription and keep a balance in their HGS account covering at least the toll fee in order not to incur a penalty.
HGS Subscription and Balance Requirement
Crossings made without an HGS account, or without sufficient balance in the account, are recorded as violation crossings.
To avoid a penalty, foreign plated vehicles that made a violation crossing must settle their debt within the statutory period using one of the payment methods below.
Payment Methods
Payment method 1: Open an HGS account within 15 days of the crossing date and load a balance covering at least the toll fee.
Payment method 2: Pay through Türkiye İş Bankası banking systems.
Payment method 3: Query your debt with the vehicle plate or IGB number on the "Toll Violation Query and Online Payment" screen of our website and complete the payment.
Penalties Under Law No. 6001
If no payment is made within 15 days of the crossing date, a penalty of one (1) times the toll fee is added as of day 16.
If no payment is made within 45 days of the crossing date, a penalty of four (4) times the toll fee is added as of day 46.
Exit Through Customs Gates
To avoid waiting and causing queues at customs gates, foreign plated vehicles that made a violation crossing must pay their toll fees and penalty amounts through one of the payment methods above before arriving at the customs gate.
Foreign plated vehicles that have not paid their highway usage fees are not permitted to exit through customs gates.
